About Ilkin
Ilkin is a hospital pharmacist within Critical Care at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Glasgow. Before this, whilst at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Ilkin, working together with the University of Strathclyde, was responsible for the delivery of the education and training of MSc students. She is a qualified independent pharmacist prescriber and works together with the clinical team to make changes to medicines that improve the quality and safety of patient care. Ilkin has also been a member of the critical care team at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and the Royal Free London Hospital. IBS is something very close to her heart as she has been living with the condition for the last 20 years.
