The FODMAP Friendly Kitchen- Emma Hatcher
Emma provides, as the title suggests a friendly insight into following the low FODMAP diet by drawing from her own personal experience but acknowledging that we are not all the same.
She explains that the diet can be quite complex and repeatedly recommends that you work with a dietitian; good advice which optimises your chance of success.
Please ensure you have had a diagnosis of IBS before starting the diet. Your doctor will need to have eliminated any underlying causes of symptoms, particularly when omitting gluten, as Coeliac disease may go undetected.
Overall, our reviewer, a registered dietitian, enjoyed reviewing the book and thought it would usefully accompany a dietitian-led support for the Low FODMAP diet.
